Admission to the nursery class opens in January and February every year. Application forms for test/interview can be obtained on payment and submitted before the due date, in the office. For admission to the Nursery candidates must not be less than 4 years of age and not more than 5 on the 31st of March. Form-B must be attached with the form. New entrants from other schools (IV -VIII) must produce school leaving certificate from the school last attended. Admission is granted on merit basis of test/interview held by the school.
Fees & Readmission:
Fees: The school has affordable fees payable at Allied Bank., Tipu Road Rawalpindi. However, the school reserves the right to revise fees from time to time. Fees can be paid by the 15th of each month from 20th onward a fine of Rs100/- will be charged up to 28th after which the defaulter’s name will be struck off the rolls re-admission will be granted as per rule on the payment of re-admission fee of Rs.500/-. In such cases, the Principal can disallow readmission.
Permission to defer payments of fees may be given in special circumstances by the Principal
Fees for July and August should be paid in June, if not possible it can be paid monthly obtaining Bank challan form, from the school office.
No Student will be admitted to any examination unless all the dues have been cleared
Amount once paid will not be refunded even if the student’s name is withdrawn for any reason or is struck off by the Principal immediately after admission.
Fee Concession: there is no brother/sister concession. The intelligent students who are good in studies but financially week are allowed concession in tuition fee. Son/daughter of teacher in SSPS is also granted concession. (at a time for two kids,)
Scholarship Award: Four merit scholarships per annum have been floated by the management in the name of late Muhammad Shamim Khan (Alig) and Late Madam Khalida Perveen Ex. Principal Sir Syed Public School to be awarded to deserving students. It is awarded to brilliant students of Secondary Classes.
Rules & Regulations
Leave of Absence: Leave must be obtained before the child absents himself/herself except in the case of sudden illness application bearing name, class, section and roll No. of the Child must be signed by the parents otherwise application will not be entertained.
No Leave combining with holidays will be granted except in the case of very strong reason such as illness supported by M.C.
The name of the child is struck off the rolls, if he/she remains absent without leave for six consecutive days. The fine for absence is charged at Rs. 5 per day but students of IX 0- X are heavily fined.
School Uniform: School Uniform is compulsory for all the students whether boys or girls. No student is allowed to attend the school unless he / she is in full uniform. Habitually untidy or shabbily dressed children may be fined or expelled if no improvement is noticed.
Prescribed School Uniform:
Summer Uniform for Boys: White Shirt (Full Sleeves), Earthy colour Pants, School Tie, Black Shoes, Black Socks.
Hair Cut for Boys: Cadet Cut
Girls (Primary) White Shirt & White Shalwar, Black Shoes, Black Socks.
VI-X Blue Shirt, White Dupatta, White Shalwar, Black Socks & Back Shoes.
Winter Uniform for Boys:
Gray Pants, White Shirt, Bottle Green Blazer & Sweaters, School Cap and Tie (Compulsory)
Girls: Bottle green Blazer & Sweater. Students both boys and girls have been issued ID cards bearing their names, Roll Numbers class and section. It is compulsory for them to wear it.
Visitors: Visitors are welcomed but bot allowed to move about the class rooms or contact the child or teacher when the class is in progress. Anyone who wants to see a teacher, or a student should report to the office, the office will call the person concerned and visitor will be allowed to meet him/her in the visitors’ room during recess or at the given time. duplicate of student’s ID card rests with the parents they have to produce it on their visit to school.
Conveyance: The school owns no conveyance. Parents will be responsible for the safe conveyance of their children to school and back to their homes.
